Who are we?
We are a Swimming Club for
people with disabilities of all ages and for
families,carers and volunteers.
Our Patron is Dame Sarah Storey.
The organisation has been going 60 years.
What do we do?
We meet each Friday evening at Macclesfield Leisure Centre Pool.
There is good access for people with disabilities with several disabled parking bays for people with wheelchairs or walking aids.
There is a pool-side chair-hoist to help people who have mobility problems to enter and leave the water with ease and dignity.
Members can receive ASA(Amateur Swimming Association)
accredited awards as they progress in their swimming abilities.
Learning to swim is encouraged but not compulsory.
Annual Awards are presented for the the most improved swimmer
and the best volunteer.

Registration form
As we are a charity, we do not charge for swimming sessions.
We fundraise so that we can cover the costs of social activities,
equipment and insurance.
All our volunteers are DBS (enhanced) cleared,
and trained in safeguarding and pool safety.
